The trailer for Prey 2 opens with a haunting scene of a dense forest shrouded in mist, accompanied by the distant sounds of wildlife and the crackle of a campfire. A voice speaks in Comanche, soft but determined — it’s Naru (Amber Midthunder), recounting the legends of a great hunter from the sky. “We thought it was gone… but it has returned,” she says, her voice carrying both fear and resolve.
The screen cuts to a flashback from the first movie: Naru’s intense battle with the Predator, showcasing her cunning and bravery. The scene shifts to the present, where she is now a revered warrior, respected by her tribe for her past victory. Yet, she is restless, sensing a new threat lurking in the shadows.
Suddenly, a chilling roar pierces the silence of the forest, and the camera cuts to a series of quick shots: strange symbols carved into trees, animals fleeing in terror, and a mysterious figure observing from above with a glowing, green infrared vision. A new Predator has arrived — faster, smarter, and more ruthless than before.
Naru, accompanied by a group of skilled warriors from her tribe, sets out to track this new enemy. The trailer teases glimpses of their journey through dangerous terrain: dense jungles, rocky mountains, and misty rivers. They encounter the gruesome aftermath of the Predator’s attacks — evidence of its brutal efficiency and advanced technology. “It’s studying us,” Naru whispers, “learning… adapting.”
The tension mounts as the Predator begins hunting them one by one. The trailer shows intense action sequences: Naru and her team using their traditional skills and new tactics to fight back, crafting traps and weapons from their surroundings. The Predator is shown deploying new, more lethal weaponry, including a whip-like energy weapon and cloaking devices that allow it to blend seamlessly into its environment.
Moments of quiet intensity are interspersed with bursts of adrenaline-fueled action: Naru leading her team through a rain-soaked forest at night, a desperate chase across a rocky ravine, and a fierce hand-to-hand combat sequence where Naru faces off against the Predator, her face set in determination.
As the music swells, the trailer builds to a heart-pounding climax: Naru, wounded but unyielding, stands alone in an open clearing, armed only with a spear and her wits. She shouts defiantly into the darkness, “Come for me!” The Predator’s eyes flash menacingly in the shadows.
The screen cuts to black, and the title card appears: Prey 2. The final words read: “Hunt or be hunted – 2024.” The Hulu logo follows, hinting at the epic showdown to come.
